Out of boredom, I decided to prompt Copilot with some small tasks, to create me a simple todo app, and some games. I was surprised by the results, and how fast it was able to generate the code. It was able to create this simple apps in a matter of seconds, and I was able to run them without any issues. It created the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files with all the logic so fast, that I was amazed and a bit scared of this. Yeah there are tons of small apps like that and the LLMS can train on them, but the fact that it can generate code so fast, and so good, is a bit scary. I am not saying that it will replace developers, for now, but who knows.
This AI is really scary good, it can generate code so fast and so good, that it makes you wonder what the future holds for developers. Hope I will still have a job in 5 years.
